on a related note, it is usually hottest around 2 pm even though the sun is no longer directly overhead, it takes a while to get the full effect of the irradiation.-either that or mother nature just likes hotter afternoons

In those parts of the world that use daylight saving time, 2 pm by the clock equates to 1 pm standard time, just one hour past the time when the sun is approximately overhead.

When you do touch the thermostat, Mother Nature will take it out of you. It just takes a while.

Mother Nature hasn’t woken up here yet. Rain, cold, overcast. Could someone get there and kick her bed or something?
