I’m 51 and I remember my father reading this comic to me when I was a little girl….

This ranks up there with “hold my purse” & “buy some tampons for me” among things no man should ever be expected to do!

I’m not married yet and I don’t think I want to be.

I never asked my husband to return stuff. He was great for killing bugs, and getting a mouse out of the house. And kept the cars in tip top shape. Ate everything I put in front of him without saying “I had that for lunch”. #1 in my book.

Never had a problem returning anything the wifey wanted me to; I finally returned HER…..

Doing anything my Sweetie asks is my #1 job.

Poor Mutt. The perils of having an uncaring wife.

That’s probably what his wife is also thinking.

Mutt’s spouse doesn’t look like she needs a girdle!

I guess I never noticed how much their son looks like Jeff….

Wish I knew what year this strip was from – that would put the humor in the context of society at the time.
