Good morning, Vagabond..I was going to write, “Good hangover morning”, but I doubt if any of you had more than a beer or two, or maybe a glass of wine.

Hope all the Vagabonds had a good Fourth. It was very hot, 95, but spent the day at my sister’s and niece’s house where they have a pool. Going to be in the 90s for the next three or four days and then into the 80s. for the rest of the week. Oh well, better than rain.

Good morning, vagabonds. I stayed in all day yesterday, uploading more articles. In the evening, from my balcony, I saw that the neighborhood kids put on a nice fireworks display.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Had a loverly Fourth of July. Sat out front and watched at least a hundred different firework displays! People sure spent a lot of money for entertainment! I guess they remembered last year when we had a local wild fire, and all fireworks were banned. So everyone celebrated our USA Birthday in grand style.

Got up to 90.9 yesterday and down to 61 during the night. Wow does it feel good!!!! we had 7 days of that darn pesky heat wave! And it’s finally broken! Hurray! I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if we had air conditioning………….:))

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

dkram, perhaps you could send some of Champlain’s water to our Lake Mead. We are so far down that the marina piers are hanging in mid air and the boat ramps lead to dry mud.

We had a wonderful evening of fireworks, too. We walked across the road to the park where we could see the whole Las Vegas valley and saw shows from horizon to horizon. There was everything from a big show about a mile away to multiple displays so far away in North Las Vegas that they looked like little blossoms of color against the white lights of the city, and everything you can imagine in between. The whole thing lasted only about 15 minutes, but it was terrific!

    GOOD AFTERNOON YA’LL

On the 4 we had our little parade here in our communitydown around the grove by the lake- My friend led it with hisstock 56 Chevy with me riding shootgun. As the parade is children oriented, they dressed in all kinds of red/white/blueoutfits as well as some crazy adults in funny outfits followingour Chevy. Good time had by all.

@dkram- same weather here as it goes from west to east-rains at least once a day briefly then goes to you
