He is. He was around 20 or older when he found Skeezix on his doorstep in 1921.

There was a guy at the Red Sox Yankees game last night, Yankees fan Bernando LaPallo, who is 111 years old. Walt has him beat by a bit.

As Molly the mouse says “To cheese” before she buries her head into a wheel of cheese.

I wish these old wonderful strips would be shown from the beginning.

UncaScrooge: No, he was no sort of college graduate, might have been a WWI sort (not to my memory) and was usually the central figure in the garage area known as “Gasoline Alley” where all the jokes and stunts were about autos and the families surrounding the Alley.of suburban haunts It never got into "AmandaLynns’ and Redneck Humor until Jim took over the strip and his love of Bluegrass music came through. Not begrudging the fact, for I know a few instruments myself, but what, in the old days, started as a flatland citys’ suburban comic strip, graduated into the outskirts of Marion, Virginia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gasoline_Alley

    Keep up, folks !!
