Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday, for the sake of getting some light excersize, I walked to the local hardware store to buy a doorbell. Counting the hill (the Bronx is full of hills) I would say the roundtrip was the equivalent of 10 city blocks. Although it was a nice day, I returned home out of breath and sweaty. I guess next time I should take shorter walks.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Vagabond men, me included.

Arye: Don’t try to rush things. You have to start slowly and work your way up to it just like I had to do with my knee.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

And a Happy Father’s day to all our Vagabond Daddies. The best part of Father’s Day is the phone calls from all the kids. All in one day!

Got up to 78 yesterday, and down to 48 during the night. No rain in sight for a while. This will probably be the end of the lush greenscape we’re enjoying.

    Wow! David…………..almost there!!!!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Happy father’s day to all of our fathers, grandfathers, father-figures and mentors. (See today’s Nancy for a nice tribute to father-figures.)

It’s only supposed to get up to 98 today. Cold snap.

One of our local TV stations gives $100 to the local literacy program for every day the temp gets up to triple digits. On Friday, they were up to $1300 and it isn’t even summer yet.
