Having a TV in every room except bathrooms means not being tied to watching it. Programmes are relayed throughout the house, so if anything gripping does come on, I can stop whatever I’m doing to view it. I am far too busy to want to sit looking at TV all day. Radio is also on sender – not just TV – and all have ’off’switches if I want peace and quiet.
