I have a great-great-great-grandfather who fought in the Revolutionary war. I have a great-grandfather who fought in the Civil War. I have a grandfather and two great uncles who fought in the ‘Great War’, now called WW I. And, my father and two uncles fought in WW II. One uncle who flew B-17’s in the Pacific theater is still alive.
