    Diogenes’ remark is even more impressive if you know he was talking to Alexander the Great.

    (Alexander, at least, was impressed; his attitude thereafter was “If I could not be Alexander, I would wish to be Diogenes.” The whole story may be apocryphal, of course.)

    You probably do. You just don’t know it yet. Ask some questions of your casual acquaintances and you may find a Foxx. Talk “with” them, and really listen to their answers. (Thar’s GOLD in them thar cashiers!)
