Oh, boy! Does Robb live at our house? This sounds like half the conversations that go on around here, except I’m the one t never has the phone, charged, turned on, or even in her purse.

She’s not the only one who has a problem with her spouse carrying the phone. Mine has been able to keep it charged up. He just forgets to take it every once in awhile. He’s getting better at it though. Good luck in trying to train him, Marcie. lol

what kind of crappy phone battery won’t last one day outside? I mean he’s a cop on the beat, I know he isn’t spending all his time tweeting.

The assumption that everyone must be available to everyone at any time is so prevalent in today’s society that it makes me want to scream! I have a cell phone for MY convenience, not so that the rest of the world can reach me when I’m sitting on the commode. I don’t usually even carry it unless I’m expecting someone in particular to call or if I know that I need to be able to call home while I’m out. (And yes, I’m over 60.)

If it’s an emergency she can call his Desk Sergeant, who will radio him. If it’s not an emergency then she shouldn’t be calling him at work.
