I’ve actually seen an automated reel for sale. Attach it to a tree or something, cast the line and when it detects a strike (tug) it starts reeling in. Supposed to be for survival situations but even then what’s the point?
Now that’s what I call “setting the hook”.
Well, they do use fishing line to cut the weeds, so why not? lol
