Ah, the good old days when Summer meant going barefoot, and mud squishing between the toes.Only hazard then was gravel roads, but after about a week, feet toughened to it.But now, too much scrap metal and broken glass even in the rural areas. Feet can’t toughen to that!

Ah yes, I found the perfect mud, and after ten minutes in it came up with a couple of dozen small leeches on my feet.
