Arguably true. At least the way “conservatives” have redefined themselves as “hating America and everything it stands for” instead of being, you know, concerned about conserving America.
Yes. Because the fact that both parties are controlled by extremist zealots who would rather die than compromise will have nothing to do with it. We need a third, moderate party. Sadly, most citizens are too hypnotized by the Democrat/Republican machine to thnk outside the box. This country is doomed.
Given recent actions and statements from Issa, Coburn, Inhofe, McConnell, Cantor, and quite a few others, Gorrell has obviously gotten it RIGHT for a change. As more swing into the “straightjacket” brigade of elected, and public following such as Rush, Hannity, and Coulter, it IS becoming more evident that “conservative” and “insane” are on the way to synonyms.
Yesterday rightisright posted the following on Benson:
“The barbarians never change. The blame lies squarely with the liberals who opened the floodgates, letting this third world trash into civilized nations. Barbarians and liberals are both threats to civilization.”
And:
“Communists, socialists, liberals, all three the same: a gun to your head, a hand in your wallet and complete freedom—for them—from their own dystopian tyranny.”
Sort of interesting to compare rightisright’s comments to this cartoon.
