I thought yesterday’s 12-time married man was the worst.

Anyone else read this one and hear the “Lowered Expectations” theme from MADtv?

Funny book I read in the ‘70s was called “The Inept Seducer” full of the horror stories of dating, from a woman’s perspective.

You can find a keeper – might just take time and you learning what’s good for you and what’s bad before you can – didn’t meet my good match until I was 48.

Had a lot of fun looking before that but…

Mid forties for me, hang in. I think the critical thing is not to be looking. Once you stop looking, your chances of a good match shoot way up.

I found mine when I was 38 and he was 37. We have continued to be friends after he told me he’d never remarry and I dated others. I stopped dating anyone in the 1980s and still love him. We got together last July (I stayed a month with him) and last December-January (another). Now I’m busy working on lowering my BP because neither of us wants to take any meds. We are both doing great when we’re together, but I moved to Phoenix because I always hated Chicago weather. His business depends on that weather and he’s happy working. I love this house and the weather here but not the same without him. I can put up with that weather for short times, but rather be here most of the time. Photo back in 1977

Mine found me in high school, we married at 19(no kids for 4 more years) – it will be 40 years in Jan. In my case, it was great to marry a good one when she found me – your milage may vary.
