Ah! Nothing like fresh Abalone camping at the coast. I have a dozen shells hanging on my garage. You knew it was a successful diving day if you heard pounding around the campground at dinnertime. One time we forgot our mallets so we used beer bottles. lol Great memories.
This one got me – I thought it was funny. When I was little, we went to Catalina Island and had abalone. Absolutely delicious – but haven’t had any since. RipleyKGarfield – funny!
