I’m with Flo; I know just enough “computer” to get into trouble! The "I.D….. applies to me also, but I don’t like my nose rubbed in it!

Tregg……respect your elders………bet Tregg wouldn’t know how to use a manual typewritter, or a plug and talk switchboard, a dial phone, or any number of items that her grandmother could use without a problem.

I used to put that “error code” down on my runs at lead retrieval at the conventions when I had to service the machines…IF it was a simple problem… The thing was that I had to put the code in AFTER I left the booth to avoid getting clobbered… You don’t want a customer signing off on an ID 10 T error at his own booth…ESPECIALLY at a gun and knife show…

We used that code at our help desk all the time. It was generally reserved for the ID10Ts who couldn’t remember their password from one day to the next or, sometimes, from before lunch to after! In some cases, it applies! My son uses the PEBCAK code.
