Yeah, get all worked up over 4 dead Americans (who died under a Democratic President), but just act bored over the dozens who died under a Republican admin.Hypocritical? Gosh, just a bit.

I wonder if some people (many Dems) would feel the same if it were their sons who were murdered. The pain of loosing a son is not a fleeting issue. My husband and I know!

Mike LuckovichYou do realize that four-4 Americans were killed and the Administration blamed it on snake oil, don’t you?

You, are suppose to hold the elected officials up to the light not help try and hid or distract us from the truth, you, Mike Luckovich, that is your job and if this is an example, then your light is dim. You need new glasses.

Beirut 1983, Iran/Contra, Grenada (friendly fire deaths), Panama (dead troops and civilians to arrest ONE GUY!), 9/11/01, yup the guys behind those fiascos beat dead horses, and bury their mistakes under the “W” executive order sealing records of Reagan and his Daddy, as well as “hisself”…

Looking for “scandals” under their rocks is the prime MO of Republicans following the “Rove model”, so well used by Cheney and Rumsfeld to not only hide their actions, but also their profits, from public scrutiny.

In other news, right wing pundit Pete Santilli says of Clinton, “I want to shoot her right in the vagina and I don’t want her to die right away; I want her to feel the pain and I want to look her in the eyes..”Classy. Anyone who thinks these are the good guys is a fool.

But, also to the point, did the Republicans spend months of valuable time investigating what happened, or did they just ignore them? The Dems knew there were more important issues at hand; they worked to fix the problems instead of wasting time trying to pin the blame on someone else for political gain.

If you are capable of reading what I posted you’ll see that I didn’t speak for God, I simply suggested you keep his name out of your arguments, and suggested he might not care for the endorsement of someone who would use his name to trash another for political reasons, and then say if things didn’t turn out the way you wanted them to, we didn’t deserve God’s help. I’m sure God has his own judgements about mankind and really isn’t influenced by your feeble and biased opinions. God doesn’t just support the right wing, you know; indeed he’d be most likely to support those who want to look after his planet and its many and diverse peoples.

“Then May GOD Help this Nation! – -‘Although if the American voters actually put this unprincipled, unscrupulous, unrepentant an’ thoroughly mercenary woman in the US presidency in 2016, then we as a nation don’t deserve GOD’s help…”

And, by the way, if you call that a prayer, you must go to one angry and screwed up church.

“Y’see…on whose watch American deaths happen is not as critical as whether or not everything humanly possible WAS DONE to protect them by those in charge.”That didn’t work out so well in “Blackhawk Down”. Of course that was just a movie, so what do I know?

And how would Bush have handled it if they’d found bin Laden during his “watch?” Would he have “sat in the corner like a good little boy” or would he run off to Texas to cut brush on his "ranch?’(The one he sold immediately after leaving office)

richardelguru: And you don’t even mention that 9/11 incident. Quite a few government offices were there; indeed, the building complex itself was government-owned – the New York Port Authority..Harleyquinn: No, Bush didn’t go to a fundraiser until the facts were in, Bush kept reading a kiddy book in a photo op while the story was being played live on TV.

“Do you know how long it takes to get a secrete service team ready to extract a President?”Are you serious? It’s takes seconds; that’s what they are trained to do.Bush sat there for 7 minutes with a stunned look on his face (haven’t you seen the footage; the cameras kept rolling). Anyone else would have calmly excused himself and hunkered down to the job of being the Commander in Chief. And what was told to him was, “America is under attack.” After which he did nothing FOR 7 MINUTES! Rather poor reaction time in a nuclear age.If Bush is your best example of the job being done well, then your standards are so ridiculously warped your opinion is meaningless.

I don’t recall Bush and Cheney telling much about the embassies that were bombed during their terms. I don’t recall FOX even mentioning them as any big deal!! There’s no cover up. Is the Reugnuts in Congress that are causing the scandal. No vote on Jobs Bill, only 38 votes to repeal a law that cannot be repealed, ACA. Bachmann should be the one that is impeached. A criminal calling for the impeachment of a President that is reversing the Bush era Tax Breaks that broke the country along with two wars that were not paid for. Where were the hacks calling “Wheres the money” when that was going on in 2002? Hiding under their desks, that’s where!

Uh, where do you get your facts? Bush lied about EVERYTHING! He was on vacation and continued the vacation when New Orleans was under water!! He didn’t even deign to visit, but FLEW OVER 3 days after the event! Obama would lead if the Repugnuts in USHR would vote on something besides repealing ACA! Tell your Representatives to get off their butts and pass a jobs bill and get rid of Sequestration! Wanna see the country rebound! That’ll do it!!

Of the 3000 organizations that put in for 501K status, only 76 were right wing, the other 2024 were left wing or charities. Give me a break. Get your facts straight before complaining about the IRS.

5,000 plus dead Americans, and tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dead innocent bystanders prove that “W” continues to lie “after the fact”. Maybe Bush would have bombed Italy to get even for Benghazi? That would be consistent with his accurate and well-aimed attack on Iraq.

ReFlex-76: Those were civilian mercenaries calling for help in Benghazi, hired guards, no longer SEALs. BTW, one of them was also a co-founding member of MRFF (Military Religious Freedom Foundation), and his family isn’t the one whining about Obama, they knew the danger in the job he’d taken.

AS to all that “if they were your loved ones” argument, several of those 5,000+ Bush got killed in Iraq, and more who were injured, and disabled for life, WERE and ARE my “loved ones”. Trying to compare Benghazi to the horror wrought on America, Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere by the Bush Cheney regime is totally absurd.
