I agree with the grandmother on this one.

Sometimes you just need someone like Alix to find out what’s going on when you’re not around. Lucky for me I have a lock on my bedroom door.

In this day and age… do girls and secrets still mix…??

Did they ever go well together?

Great expression on Holly’s face in panel 2, when Alix spills the beans.

I think this talk is going to be about boundaries.

Hmmm, what’s that buzzing under the Bed?

I seem to remember all three of them going through Evie’s room to find evidence of the boyfried Arnold. For our amusement and edification, none of them will learn.

That is why I don’t share secrets with my sister. Too many risk.

I’ve always worked in male-dominated fields. So guys… don’t even try to imply that women can’t keep a secret, but men can. Men gossip and pry every bit as much as women do. Maybe more.

Love the way Evie is shaking her tea bag in the last panel, to help extract more tea and settle in for the siege.

I’m afraid not Holly.

Holly is in the doghouse BIG time! I admit that I used to try on my mom’s jewelry, but I got permission first, and I always put it right back.

I love the teabag action

When I was a kid, I don’t think women like my mother had ever heard of those toys. I always kept my bedroom locked when my kids were teens (and I divorced their dad). I dated around a bit before meeting the love of my life (back in ’76). And I have a big drawer full, but none that I like. Nothing beats actual memory!

I’ve learned to taste my shoe leather at times and enjoy the rubber between my teeth … drop the ego and admit your mistakes and you live better. As for toys, normal healthy people in committed relationships use them together and apart all the time … one scenario does not exclude the other necessarily.
