My 100 lb GSD is eating cicadas by the snoot-full. I wish that she wouldn’t or I am going to need the outfit in the cartoon.
Here in Northern VA we have the critters by the thousands and while they dont bother me very much they are quite loud. About 80 decibels, I estimate.

When I was young, our dog would do her business in our own back yard. From time to time, we would go around the yard and cover the piles with lime to help it become part of the environment. We had very healthy grass.
