That is indeed the moral of the story “The boy who cried Wolf!”, And it is indeed unfortunate for the future of this great American Republic!!

The Republicans didn’t yell about any of the scandals, though. Benghazi is lead by Gregory Hicks; the IRS outed itself ahead of a report by an Inspector General; the AP flap was released by the Associated Press. Toles is utterly delusional. Pathetic really.

Shouldn’t we take note of the fact that all three were democrats who put the good of the people before the taint of the dollar? There’s a lesson there, friend.

Not fire in a crowded theater—more like knowing how easy it is to manipulate the paranoid. Let’s not forget that the only people who respond to this crap are of a single political persuasion.

The fact that it’s covered so heavily in popstream media has to do with selling ads targeting those same people.

We had a drone looking at the Benghazi murders in real time so the administration saw everything as it happened and yet neither the Secretary or State nor the President did anything to stop it. The result was four dead Americans that might be alive today if they had acted, but no matter the outcome they failed to act when they should have and every American ought to be outraged at this kind of incompetence.

My, my you really are surrounded by the wolves and all their cubs. What happened to YOU specifically yesterday that was Obama’s fault? You need a couple of those bicycle mirrors so you can keep an eye behind you 24/7. It would not surprise me if you were the first to join a fascist resistance group and become exactly what you complain about. Perhaps not but name your personal specific sufferings due to Obama or is your proof your accusation and nothing more. That is what Tolls is talking about. Your “theater” is empty Tolls is full which is why you are here, LOL

Our government is slowly being destroyed by corporate profiteers seeking a world in which they can pollute the environment and exploit the workers to maximize their own already obscene profits without fear of regulation from a people united as a government. Everything else is distraction to keep us divided and weak. A strong central government of, by and for the people is our only chance for a livable world for our grand children and I fear that we are losing ground on this front.

Is this comment saying that the libs are so empty headed that you are wasting your time talking to them. I agree. There is a uproar about the abuse in the service. but Clinton exposing himself to paula jones and other women does not count. How about ed kennedy saved himself when the car went into the river but Mary Jo Kopechne having to die a slow death in the car is ok. How about the clinton taking 6 million dollars in donationg to pay thier leagal expenses because they said they were broke and they made it a trust so you could deduct it as a gift and they did not have to pay taxes on it. I am sorry you libs are stupid.

You, Tom Toles are suppose to hold the elected officials up to the light not help try and hid or distract us from the truth, you, that is your job and if this is an example, then your light is dim. You need new glasses.

While you were trying to distract me with your clever picture;Four-4 Americans were killed and the Administration blamed it on snake oil;$16,000 is your share of the government borrowing over the last 5 years, are you ready to pay that now?The Administration sold (or encouraged sale of) firearms to Mexican Drug dealers, what did you say about that?

When the Federal Government comes to tap your phones, monitor your speech, search your house, audit your income, tax your every purchase or action, will you then want the Tea Party to help defend your Constitutional Rights?

    I though so.

You, are suppose to hold the elected officials up to the light not help try and hid or distract us from the truth ore leave it up to other elected officials, you, that is your job and if this is an example, then your light is dim. You need new glasses.

gee, Alex, I know whatever I say will never change Your position. And you assume everyone will look to the TEA party for help? The ONLY thing that the GOP has done right is to stand up .for the 2nd amendment. What hasn’t happened yet,, is anybodies conjecture. so half your post is about stuff that hasn’t happened.Don’t you know that other presidents have tried a version iof the fast and furious? think it was Clinton and Bush.I know I could be wrong , but None of them succeded with it.

Yes, Trusting Obama Mechanic, I know exactly what she said and Why she said it. Her obnoxious point was that we Americans shouldn’t care how or why Benghazi happened AND why her office intentionally put out a false story about what happened. It doesn’t make any difference.

We should just be good little followers and “let her do her thing”. I can see you got your marching orders, but most people who are informed about Benghazi know that some real shady stuff went down.

Yes. The purpose for corporate status is to limit liability, both to the corporation and its officers.

And that is more than enough ‘privilege’ for corporations. To declare them ‘persons’ is excessive, and confirms their position that they are above the law.

No entity, real or intangible, should be above the law.

Exactly so. Do you think if we keep saying it, it might sink in just a little?

The policy differences between the parties amount to facade, not substance. It’s one party with two faces. It’s a straight fascist government. Corporations before people.

    @Tigger

Not sure Hillary’s health would be up to a run in any case. I don’t think it will happen.

It’s just more smoke and mirrors, this claim that she will level the opposition in 2016, and Hillary is in a good position to know which are which. Health condiderations aside, she may well be fed up with the whole business.

I wouldn’t blame her. The GOP does appear to fear her, but that may well be a little more sleight of hand. They are so irrational it’s hard to figure out where they’re are coming from, since they seem to be channelling Ms. Ima and GuardSargeant.

    The Dems are merely deceitful.

    Seeking isn’t finding.

If he doesn’t ‘agree’ that the IRS was out line. I don’t think they were; fraud is fraud, and seeking it out and penalizing it is IRS’ job after all. It is a pointless waste of resources to look where you don’t suspect something. Overzealous, perhaps, but how much outrage would there be if the targets were Dem NPOs?

We have a serious NPO problem in this country, and I for one would be thrilled if they were all subject to serious audits.

I might be able to do it more often if it wasn’t sometimes impossible to load this page. I’d re-up my account if I was more confident of being able to use it regularly. It takes as much as twenty minutes sometimes to load a single comic. The only other page I have to fight this way is FB.

That’s kind of enlightening in a way … time for a server upgrade. A major server upgrade.

    Got it?
