Good ol’ Ima’s always trying troll someone. I usually just roll my eyes and move on.As for the report, I’d like to see their sampling methods. Two of my neighbors are right wing political hacks. One could be medically classified as morbidly obese, and displays his American flag at night with no spot lighting. The other has the beginning of a “beer belly” and “moobs.”
Interesting. I wonder if any conclusions were drawn as to why.
I can appreciate that physically strong people would be attracted to gun ownership. People who are born stronger than others do often choose to enjoy their power. You don’t see any “98-pound-weakling” bullies, for example.
But being into power over people does not make one a conservative. Or does it?
I’ll wait for the results of the next study.
On the other hand, just for fun: I remember a study where the experimenter used rabbits. He chopped down trees where there were regular rabbits, and again where the rabbits wore hard hats. He found the rabbits wearing hard hats had more trouble jumping out of the way of falling trees.
Conclusion: hard hats are a liability in an area where falling objects are possible.
Stupid? Of course, and intentionally so. Just goes to prove that if you want to, you can find the results you want.
Here are some broad-brushing over generalizations (but, there is significant amount of truth here):The Liberal mantra: “I want Other people to be forced do my priorities and also to pay for them.”The Liberal has little experience in being ‘self sufficient’(doing a project on their own), and has lots of experience in manipulating others- for their own good.
“Physically strong” men in the study tended to be more abusive, less inclined to reason, and yes conservative. It didn’t go into all the morbidly obese who are also “leaning right” in politics. It also didn’t address the physically lazy who think they have to have a pickup, ATV, or other motorized vehicle to destroy the planet with, by where they use them and physically cause damage, as well as the side effect of consuming huge amounts of natural resources for their “lifestyle”.

Let me guess, the study was done by a conservative think tank.

Muscles are men’s boobs. They’re supposed to be hot, but the bigger your assets, the stupider people will think you are. That sucks.
