Good morning, Vagabonds. The AC was too cold; my fan and cross ventilation between the window on one side and the balcony door on the other side is cooling.

Another new bath of NY times to keep me busy reading.

    Good Morning, Everyone,

Darn………….we’ve got a heat wave! It got up to 90.1 yesterday, and down to 62 during the night. We’re like Jan…..in that we have to close up the house and blinds and drapes around noon, and then get to open them up around 9 at nite. One nice thing about this house, is that the second floor is really the basement. That’s where we put our home theatre and library. So, you can escape down there during the heat of the day to read, and watch a movie at night. We even have the extra storage area for a second pantry and a small kitchen and full bathroom. (We use it for a private guest room)

Good morning Vagabonds.Glad to see that that everyone is having perfect weather. LOLThey say that there is a tropical plume up the east coast from Fla. caused by the jet stream dipping down to the panhandle and as a result we are going to have T storms and rain every day until next Sun. or Mon.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I saw a national weather map yesterday that shows a heat wave covering almost all of the country. We’re just in the hottest part. Today will be a good day to stay indoors. My neighbors decided to use their pool this morning at 6AM while it was still cool enough to enjoy it (only 85 then, now 90 at 7:30).
