Good morning, Vagabonds. For once "Gasoline Alley has a hilarious story line. I recommend that the past week be reviewed.
Yesterday I went to see the administrator of my health program to discuss getting a higher rolator so that I wouldn’t be stooped down while walking with it. She told me that she’s retiring tomorrow; I’m glad I got to say goodbye to her. I gave her an autographed copy of my self-published fantasy fiction novel, “The Promise of Bisibi.” Unfortunately, there’s no way of googling it, although the front and back cover of it can be seen in my facebook.
Good morning all.Rotten day today. Cool, fogy, dark and then rain. Forecast is for T showers or rain everyday through next Thursday. At least some of the days the temp will be in the high 70s to the low 80s. Great 4th of July. Great spring so far and the summer isn’t too far behind it. LOL
Morning, Vagabonds.I really like not having to go to the office in the mornings. In fact there is no way I can tell you how much I enjoy not having to go to the office in the mornings.
Hi ho, and a hearty quack quack..Yes it’s quite damp around here. According to WCAX in Burlington, it’s the third wettest June on record. That’s the last I’ve heard anyway..Slim, Jan stick close to your Air Conditioners..Everybody have a good one..ttfn
Even better weather news here. Not only are we having a record-breaking early heat wave, but the Monsoon season starts on Monday and we can expect flash floods. I’m glad I live near the top of the hill around here.
Such a great message this morning, david! And, after only less than a week! You’ve worked really hard for this, and deserve the fun side of life, now.
First totally cloud free and hot day yesterday. Got up to 86, and down to 63 right now. :)) However, yesterday, spent about an hour in the outside garden tying up the tomatoes, and general clean up, and really got sun burned! The pills I’m on make me suseptable to burning, and because we’ve had so much cloud cover I never even thought of putting on an over-shirt. Won’t do that again!
Had our first really yummy salad from the garden last night…….combination of lettuce and spinach. :))
