Yep, the old, childish “but Johnny did the same thing” excuse. Try using that line when the IRS comes knocking.

Rogue spinning, so far no other liberal cartoonist has made this play.

    Such short memories.

When Bush was in the White House, we were either with him or we were terrorists. He was keeping us safe. That’s the difference.

Sheesh. Sometimes I wonder about you people.

About time… I have been most fascinated and disappointed how many otherwise reasonably astute cartoonists have simply pigged onto the GOP’s delusion; for instance, that the IRS debacle is even remotely similar to Watergate since both parties have their share of stupidity and political excess that, while vile, is hardly criminal. Watergate, however, was purely criminal. Thanks, Jim…for even a touch of reality.

Go to “Reagan Admnistration Scandals” at wikipedia and note the indictments, and CONVCTIONS, even though GHW Bush pardoned many of them.

One of my favorites was James Watt (“super twit”) who got the lab contract to do all the drug testing of federal employees, even though his company had NO LABORATORY FACILITIES! That was just one of Watt’s insanities, like “use up all our natural resources immediately and take the money because Jesus is coming back, soon.” BTW: I was in on the suit that went to the SCOTUS and we won that time around, and prohibited the government from doing “random drug testing” without probable. There was an exception of pilots and a few other critical jobs where a “first offense without prior history or P.C.” COULD get people killed.

“I don’t recall any investigations of the MULTIPLE creeps who suggested Bush be killed…”I don’t recall anyone saying or suggesting Bush should be assassinated. I do, however, recall hearing about how many of Bush’s outspoken critics found themselves on the TSA’s no-fly list.

whichever side is not in the White House finds ways to yell foul. This was don’t to the liberals as it is now been done to the extremists.Even before he took office a game was afoot to make him fail. I Remember. This Type of obstruction has Never been seen. He has done some very surprising and scary things, but he is more apt to look after us common people than the Tea parties.the whole thing of not allowing women in some circumstances to have an abortion (which has not ever been paid for by the government ) is big Government.the letting the 1% take it all, and taking away from the truly needy. The disbelief of science, and the pushing for a state religion, are all things that are not Right.

Oh, it’s only a scandal when obviously political groups pretending to be "service organizations " are targeted.
