Dogs really help with the greasy dishes and pans saves the plumbing. Haven’t had a dishwasher in years but do have squirt bottles next to the sink one with bleach and one with vinegar.
I was going to complain that dishwasbers today don’t have an internal heater to get dishes clean, nut after hearing those who let their pets lick their dishes it would fall on deaf ears. My gosh people have you any idea what a dog will get in its mouth once outside? Even inside dogs will eat off the floor where people track in.

We have our dog lick the dishes off before we put them in the dishwasher. Saves the trouble of prewashing.

Yep. That’s the pre-wash cycle in our house done by our 3 little dogs.

I’ve never prewashed any of my dishes and the dishwasher does a great job cleaning them.
