Ima, you are either trolling or a very ignorant person as to what is really being conveyed in this editorial. Either educate yourself on the subject and get a life or stop trying to be an Ace Troll.

@jack75287:During the French and Indian war Lord Amherst discussed with Colonel Bouquet giving the Pontiac tribe blankets used by infected troops at Fort Pitt. It is considered more likely by most that the disease was spread by warriors infected during combat.

Too bad Columbus, Cortez, and Pizarro (among others including Brits) weren’t met by a few natives with M-16s and a few clips of ammo.

The Catholic Church dictated “Spanish” policy (remember, neither Columbus or Verazanno were “Spanish”), while the Anglican Church dominated English settlement “ethics”. The French mixed Catholic and Protestant brutalities around the world in their colonies.

BTW, the eradication of Bison bison across the plains wasn’t to avoid conflict with train traffic, it was a specific policy intended to starve the plains tribes out of existence. Much wildlife around the world was indeed intentionally exterminated by European invaders to “settle the natives”. Other idiocy, like the passenger pigeon, was simply out of greed by market hunters, also with many aquatic birds killed only for their feathers to decorate women’s hats.

Yep “border security” is 521 years too late.
