You realize of course that this means war.
That’s one small step for a Plegmainian, one giant leap for Plegmainiankind.
Knowing human beings, I guess sharing is out of the question.
They’re going to have to figure out who planted their flag first, and of COURSE they won’t be able to agree on that, so…war it is.
Of course, I guess this could also be read as a comic pointing out how futile and impermanent “laying claim” to something can often be, but that’s too political for me.
