Actually this did happen once. I live in NASCAR country where the drivers oretty much live or have their garage, headquarters, etc in. One famous driver was caught speeding like 100mph at least…in a school road.
It used to happen somewhat frequently after the races at Watkins Glen in NY state, until most all of the drivers acquired their own airplanes, & flew out instead of driving,

I always wondered if race car drivers had a hard time driving slow on the road after driving at high speeds. It must seem like they are just crawling.
