http://billmoyers.com/2013/03/06/income-inequality-goes-viral/Income distribution in the USA over the last 30 years. Read it and make your own conclusions on makers and takers. I prefer to let FACTS make the arguments not emotion. Try it. It’s refreshing.
Begin by defining the width of a maker and taker. How much money do you need before you think of those who honestly and seriously need help?
Is it more common for conservative to be “keepers” and “givers” to those who don’t need?
Or do liberals give with their chosen laws take from the wealthy and give to the poor however you define that?
Do we keep what we make by right or contribute through taxes to create and support LEVEL PLAYING FIELDS. “that which you do for the least of your brothers you do also for me”? OR “it’s mine I earned it go get yours”?
Do most who have think those that don’t want to take from them? How many “Cadillac queens” are out there? How many are not? Are you a maker or a taker? It does not seem to relate to your current bank account? IMHO
Not sure? Begin by asking yourself if Toles is liberal or conservative? That is your clue. Some will never get it now or in life. For further insight try Sermon on the Mount. I have never heard a pseudo Christian refer to those words from the lips of “their” savior.
The Conservatives (selfish) vs. the Liberals (giving).Who are the true followers of Christianity? And who just drop Jesus’s name in an effort to act superior?Even a Lib like me can figure that out.
“An interesting link from a Hard Core Socialist Site. Missing is the percentage of income Tax by the wealthiest. Also, in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s when America was growing and prospering the wealth distribution gap was even greater……..”
Until 1929 … worked out really well back then, too, eh?
“It isn’t the working poor who are hoarding 90% of the country’s assets.”The working poor are “takers”, only if we’re talking about taking it on the chin…
Like millions of middle-class people, I paid a higher percentage of my income to the feds than Mitt Romney did (in the two returns he grudgingly revealed: probably his taxes were even lower in the other). I didn’t get anything from the feds other than indirectly (like national highways and the like), so I’m not a “taker”, although you could say that Romney is.

If you looked at AAdoglover’s link and still can say that, then you have to be on someone’s payroll to make these posts.

Money is a type of power. If you think the concentration of power into fewer and fewer hands is no problem, then you’d better think again.

Suggesting that Liberals never give any of their own money? That’s quite ignorant of you to even suggest such a thing.
