I agree with the dog on this one.

My sister and I had an agreement about our family cat: she hated the sound and texture of wet food, whether it was chunks in gravy or a solid SHHHHHH-PHLUMPHY mass that hit the cat bowl without changing the shape of the container, and I could not stand the litterbox cleanup (ick ick ewwww gross!). Worked very well for us: I fed the cat twice a day, she had litterbox duty. All of us were happy, except for mom who turned out to be allergic to the cat. Dang.

See it more and more each day. My wife and I were at Olive Garden for dinner one time and this family came in and during the entire meal they were constantly on their phones and never said a word to each other, even the young children. Sad state of affairs.

Back in the 80s, at dinner, I would unplug the phone and turn off the tv. My kids still think that I am cruel for that. They still think(even the wife) that I was wrong in not allowing them to gab on the phone through our meal.

Yeah, I tend to spend time in front of TVs, on my laptop, and my iPod, plus I do some talking on my phone, but I still take part in ACTUAL conversations. ‘course I don’t do any of the above when I go to the movies.

I used to only feed my kitties dry food, but apparently canned food is usually better, so I’m giving them both. Dry food is supposed to be better for their teeth though.

my 12 yr olds do not have phones yet. I think its crazy how many young kids have not only cell phones but texting and internet on it. Ridiculous.
