A few years ago a friend took me to see a Britney Spears Concert – almost front row seats at over a $100 a pop.
It was so loud it was painful – even ear plugs didn’t help. And the so-called “music” was anything but – just raucous & unintelligible. But the audience was mostly female adolescents & teeny boppers. I guess they liked it. For me, as I couldn’t leave early, it couldn’t end soon enough.Even though we headed straight out after the show, Britney and her bus made it out before we got to our car. So much for fan appreciation.I note that Britney does not even make the top 200 female singer list now. Not surprising.
