Anita lying didn’t help Justice Thomas at all.The full extent of your “proof” that she lied is that Thomas is a “conservative.” But then you don’t really require much beyond that.

I don’t blame Justice Thomas if he is angry (though I don’t think he is anymore). His name was dragged through the mud by Anita Hill with no proof other then her word against his. As far as I can see, he has done good work on the bench for years and yet there are still Militant feminists who want to hold him up as the poster child for what is wrong with the work place.

I wonder if any of those angry women have sons? I wonder if they would want their sons cast down in the mud because some woman claimed they had used unsavory language in their presence.

I agree that the Senatorial inquiry was handled badly but when it comes to he said, she said, I think the proof falls to the one claiming injury and I never saw Anita Hill provide any proof. Yes there were several others who backed her up but they had left the office under bad terms.

Arlen Specter refused to allow 12 additional women to testify who would confirm Thomas’ “proclivities”, in addition to Anita HIll. Perhaps his worst moment in the Senate.

Ignoring the hearing, Thomas’ record, written, and his nearly non-existent “oral argument” history, and his decisions merely make him one of the worst justices to ever sit on the bench, SCOTUS or otherwise. HIs record at EEOC, ignoring the Hill “accusations” proved he wasn’t competent to serve on the court and influence history, or alter the Constitution, as in “Citizens United”. He’s proven to just be Scalia’s “carbon copy”.

Clarence Thomas to this day remains 1 of the worst Justices sitting on the Supreme Court. He’s an absolute embarrassment & there’s no defending his record. He rarely asks questions or writes an opinion. Anita Hill was right & this person should never have been appointed much less getting confirmed to a lifetime appointment.

Like so many Obama supporters, Pett is mistaking comments about Obama himself for being overtly racist statements.[]In the process, he ignores the countless blacks who succeeded on their own merit. []He also ignores the very real and very definite shortcomings in Obama’s resume that, were it not for Obama’s allies, would have cost him the Presidency.

To those who would judge justice Thomas by his opinion count and the questions or comments he makes in court – Make sure you understand ALL the responsibilities of a Supreme Court Justice before you make that decision. He is also responsible for 1 of the Federal Circuits.

Additionally – Just because you don’t agree with a Justice’s opinion does not mean that they made a bad decision. Try, for a moment, to separate your partisanship from an assessment of his decisions.

I don’t like many of the decisions rendered by Ginsberg but I think she is a good Justice. Kagan, on the other hand, is a political Hack!!!
