That’s me and a weed-eater. Then my 78 yr old MIL pulls it once and goes to it.

I bought my neighbor’s non running lawn mower for $5. I had it running in 15 minutes and am still using it 5 years latter. It’s all in how you talk to it!

adam’s mower seems to have a bail bar. he needs to hold that against the mower’s handle or else it will never start…once it starts, you release the bail to kill the engine. it’s a safety feature they’ve had on mowers for twenty years…

The kids need exercise. They’re going pot-bellied.

I can’t start my mower because it has no engine. Just push. My younger son actually uses this old fashioned device to stay in shape I. The off season. It’s a win-win.

This is funny but only if you have never had it happen to you.

You would think that after all these years, that someone would be smart enough to design a lawn mower that starts with a simple key egnition like a car! This would solve the problem of constantly trying to yank that &@$# cord just to get the engine going! Eventually the cord will probably snap and come out of the mower from excessive wear and tear!

I’m with you, my mower and trimmer are electric. Just plug and go.

I never needed to mow during the winter, so the gas would go bad and it wouldn’t start without a lot of work. I bought a battery powered model and it always starts. ( as long as I remember to charge it up ).

He should get an electric mower like I have. All I have to do is hold the red button down, pull the trigger, let it come up to power, and mow away.

I mowed my pastor’s lawn today (he’s allergic to the grass) and despite the mower’s age, it starts with just three priming pumps, holding the bar and one good pull.

Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance: but will the lawn end up cut?

When I was growing up, we had an electric mower also, which is what I learned to use. The only tricky part was making sure you don’t run over the cord (which my sister did once).
