Think Baghdad instead if you want the real “cover up”, and packs of lies, and liars.

the hearings are fascinating. It’s pretty clear the cons version being put forth on this board with innuendo, is nothing like what really happened. Seems like the continuing budget cuts to foreign services were also involved.

And how many people were killed at American Embassies during the Cheney/Bush administration?Don’t heart much about those poor souls, do you? Certainly not from the oh-so-concerned GOP.

“Ahh, but the strawberries that’s… that’s where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with… geometric logic… that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I’d have produced that key if they hadn’t of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers…”

Of course, there is absolutely zero evidence that Obama or Hilary did anything like lying through their teeth (can you quote the lie?) refused to defend our ambassador (the GOP cut the embassy budget because they hate government), or made up flimsy excuses (the talking points came from the CIA, not the White House, and did not matter at all in the deaths of the four Americans). This is the difference between Benghazi and Iraq. Benghazi is a tragedy that, in the hours following, maybe could have been reported on better. Iraq was a deliberate, planned deception that killed over 4000 Americans, untold numbers of Iraqis, and destroyed our claim to a moral high ground.

The way Benghazi is being handled by this administration is similar to the way Waco was handled 20 years ago, by some of the same people.…The only real difference here is that there may not be a “Timothy Patrick McVey” or a “Terry Lynn Nicohols” out there to take it upon themselves to “avenge” Benghazi.…Once again, there is the hand-wringing and the “mea culpa’s” from a cabinet level official.…But what is noticeably absent from these hearings and the headlines are the voices of the family of the dead ambassador, both here in the Bay Area (the Ambassador was from Piedmont) and elsewhere, asking for answers and wanting justice.

Republicans are trying to manufacture a scandal where none exists.Just because you repeat a lie over and over it never becomes the truth.

Radish, I think you nailed it. It takes attention away from things like reduction in meals on wheels or head start. The right lives for SCANDAL!

When Obama came in, he said he wanted no investigation of the clusterfudge we know as the Iraq War. His intention was to offer an olive branch to the Republicans, start things off with no vituperation. That was a foolish error.

Did the Bush administration lie? Did the war have to happen? Was any good accomplished there at all? And who made money off the war? We’ll never know. And the Republicans STILL came at Obama, and continue to do so, with all they had, for any reason they can find.

“When did you change from being mr ima to ms ima?”.I must admit I missed the changeover, but if it’s true it would suggest that Ms. Ima is a member of the LBGT community, and if that is the case I find it appalling that she would be so conservative. The conservatives are not friends to the LBGT’s, not in the least.Seeing her post endlessly for the right is like witnessing a Jewish person touting for “Mein Kampf.”

I actually meant to say “hear,” but accidently hit the “t” as well (and spellcheck didn’t catch it).

Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon to move the country forward, and avoid lengthy criminal proceedings. Obama did not pursue many of the obvious “elements” of the Bush administration to try to move the nation forward, and NOT give more ammunition to the court in Den Hague. (Bush, Cheney, Rove, Feith, Rumsfeld, Rice, and even Powell.)

It is Issa and the Gigantically Obstructionist Pinheads who want to stall all progress in America, and make us look like fools around the world, and they’re succeeding.

Ima is conflicted. He/she/it has gone back and forth from Ms. to Mr. Either there is multiple personality disorder, or Mr. and Ms. fight over who gets to post, or Ima is transgender. BTW: Wouild a REAL conservative use Ms?
