While “testimony” says they’re trying to serve the families of those lost, the ambassador’s family know he’s the one who made the decision to go to Benghazi, and holds responsibility for what happened.
I respect those who take risks to serve their country, and that includes Stevens, and those private company guards State had to hire under the circumstances. I do NOT respect the chickenhawk brigade of “second-guessers”, “Monday morning quarterbacks”, and other liars and idiots in the Fux News/Dittohead faction out there.
Only one real fact regarding Middle East involvement really matters after the fact: Where are the VIABLE WMDs “W”, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice and even Powell promised existed to warrant killing over 5,000 Americans, and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis?
I used to look at the current incarnation of the Republican Party (especially the Tea Party branch) with dismay. If they didn’t right their ship, they could very well destroy their party. I know longer care. If the Republicans persist with this foolishness and impeach Obama, they do not deserve to govern.
