The Apatani women of India traditionally where large plugs in their noses! New York-based artist Saeri Kiritani created a life size sculpture of herself from one million grains of rice! According to the United Nations, more of the world's population has access to cell phones and toilets!

Watch out! Those folks that wear those large ear plugs will now add a new spot to make them stand out from the crowd. Next thing you know, everyone will want to have them.
I wonder what these people will look like when they are about 40 or 50 years old.

The art work is a little crummy again. The plugs are on the side of the nose, not some nostril stretcher.

As far as I am concerned, there isn’t much difference in nose plugs and piercings all over a face.

There are some public restrooms I’ve entered, where I could have used those noseplugs. And I’m sure there’s a tie-in to the places where people have no toilets but have cell phones, but I can’t make it.

Plumbing is an issue too. It’s easier to send a signal than run plumbing infrastructure.
