The only “question” is who’s stupid enough to get involved? Oh, right, Netanyahu came up with that “red line” bit some time ago with Iran, now they’ve bombed Syria, so, who’s on whose side???
What makesit our dirty work is the Bush "New World Order, which says that we will be the policemen of the world, unless the other guy is too strong. I wish we could go back to a little isolationist poicy. Give our fighting men and women a break.
Actually, what is of interest to the US in Syria is the pipeline infrastructure running through Syria that used to transport Iraqi Oil from Kurdistan to the ports of Latakia and Antioch, where tankers took that crude and shipped all over the Mediterranean and north Africa (and beyond).…If Iraqi Oil ever flows again, those pipelines could be useful.
An honest assessment will confirm that it is ISRAEL that has proven a "problem’, and the ATTACKER, to all the countries around it, for several decades. That even includes the only attack on a U.S. Naval vessel, in 1967, the U.S. S. Liberty, by Israel.
It’s time to rein in the real junk-yard dog of Likud, et al on the “right” in Israel, and her in AIPAC.
