I think that black, bubbly-looking stuff is your usual minimalist cartoon shrubbery, in silhouette.

If you look back on previous comic strips, Christopher is a BRAT!

well if Michael plays with Christopher maybe some of Michaels better manners will rub off on Christopher. Buck up Mike, mom will be home sooner or later.

And that’s why I never use definite words like “always”, “nothing”, “no one”, “never”. (p.s. for you literalists, it was a joke that I used “never” in this declaration)

leagleagle48, from yesterday. I’ve come to the conclusion that if they can complain about the strip, I can complain about them. Fair is fair, eh?

Michael needs to go to his mother’s home town. A few days in North Van and he will be used to rain.

I LIKE Michael, and Elly, and the whole family, pets included. That’s why I read it most days. Some readers may like it, but can’t help finding something to criticize? Or maybe some don’t like it…so why do you read it?

I hear ya knockin’, but ya can’t come in.

And that’s my final word on the subject, lest we go even further off-topic.
