I don’t know how anyone can stand to watch either Fox or MSNBC. At least Fox has democrats on to argue with; some of the MSNBC programs they practically lick and groom each other they are so chummy. Both venues are just hate filled assaults on the American psyche. Even the financial channels are tainted. I used to like to watch Neil Cavuto on Fox Business because I liked him as a commentator when he worked for CNBC but he’s just a milder agenda driven format. Early in the day Bloomberg financial TV isn’t bad but they flip over to politics after the markets close. I guess I just stick with the Wall Street Journal and avoid the opinion page.

That can be cured by reading up on the subject, or in the case of Fox “News”, watching occasionally to see what they’re “presenting” (it can’t actually be called “reporting”).. Deliberately remaining ignorant, even of others “beliefs”, or sources of their opinions, is stupidity.

Watching TV news is an instant IQ dropper. There’s really no need for it. If you absolutely must watch video, do it with the volume off.
