    The main reason to keep cats indoors is to protect them from coyotes, who find them to be delicious.

    Russell you talk a load of tripe. Its nature & been going on since the year dot, cats should have freedom like you do.freds playing , I have had cats all my life, what about dogs that rip bunnies, foxes & kids to pieces.

    Russell I am a very responsible owner of 2cats they are never out at night & well looked after. I live in the country in central Portugal and the jay birds kill more baby birds here than any cat, if not for the blackbirds chasing them off there nests there would be a lot more dead so if my cat could get the jay birds I would be pleased you want to hear the crys form the baby birds when the jays get them its horrible

    Animal “control” here doesn’t do cats. Neighbor’s bird chasing cat is too old for the hunt. It just sleeps under my truck all day. I guess some day I’ll find him as stiff as a board.
