Try a standard binder clip. Thread the cord through the black part, so that the earbuds pull against it, and then wind the cord around the silver handles. Perfect! Well, a little bulky for your pants pocket, but still. Pretty darn nifty.
I just hope he doesn’t have a “coin slot”!!!
