A little off track here, but I once sat in at a disciplinary meeting for a worker (I hadn’t hired him!) who complained, “I’ve had 29 jobs in the last 30 years, and this is the worst one out of all of them!”

I think we should outsource our prisons to Turkey. It would save us a ton of money, plus the inmate could get a real idea as th what punishment for bad deeds really is.

There are way too many recidivists who actually prefer prison to life on the streets. They consciously, or subconsciously, commit crimes so that they can return to an environment where they don’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, where they are going to sleep, or what bills need to be paid. LIfe is easier, if not safer in the slam.

“Worst decision ever by Clinton. Stealing a loaf of bread if you have “two strikes” can send you away for 25 years.”-Stealing a loaf of bread is not a felony unless there are weapons used in the theft.-A review of crimes committed showed something like 90% of felonies were being committed by something like 10% of offenders. Incarceration of the busy ten percent cut out 90% of the crimes. It also warned the other ninety.-Therefore, definitely NOT the worst decision ever by Clinton, even though he didn’t do it in the first place, not being a law maker.

The joke here is that the JUDGE hasn’t learned anything in the last 30 years either!! Should have thrown him in the pokey and left him there.
