Some children potty train earlier than others. My daughter, who has issues about getting wet, started training herself at about 2. My wife, who has worked in daycare since she was a teenager, has related a story of a 4 year old boy that was relunctant to being potty trained being completely potty trained over a single weekend. It all depends on the child and whatever can motivate them to want to advance in their personal skills.

She’s walking around now and isn’t potty trained yet? My mom started me at 1 1/2 years and was totally trained before I was 2.

Also, little girls, from what I understand, are easier to deal with. No target practice. This I know because my only child is my daughter.
