Adopt!!! Do not buy from puppy mills. Find a reliable breeder if you absolutely have to have a pedigree, otherwise, head for the animal shelters and rescue. We have 2 “pound puppies,” 1 who followed us home in the rain and another 1 who the owner wanted to get rid of (didn’t get along with her cat) … four dogs with terrific temperments and loads of personality.
