Having his cell phone turned on and taking a call in the middle of class? I don’t think so, Mister! :(

Strip has a very good point. We’ve stopped looking at the world around us and focused on an artificial one. Shades of The Matrix!

I’m happy to say one of my kids is on a no-screens campout right now. Sadly, we adult have built a screen-based society and taught the kids that it’s the way things should be.

Ants don’t need a lot of sleep They’re programmed to work around the clock.

I use the alarm clock app. Never have to worry about setting it and it turns its self off in the week ends.

I have a cell phone, but it’s not that smart. It actually makes and receives calls! It is capable of doing more, but who needs it?Also, while most are paying $100 through the nose per month, I’m paying $100 a year!

My cell phone makes calls, receives calls, and can take a few pictures. I can also text: in the 5 years I’ve had it, I have texted 3 times. I keep getting flak because it’s a flip-phone. It works fine, why change?

Texting in class would be a more realistic portrayal…not that realism is relevant to a strip featuring ants over 2,000 years ago….
