CC and soda…a double, quick!….and yes Janis, in the sense that it’s good to get old and creaky, is is a good hurt…..after all it does beat the alternative….

After I get home from work and sit down for a few minutes, this is how I feel getting back up. Been roofing for almost twenty years. I think it’s starting to take it’s toll.

Wife and I use a rental car every few months. We can tell how good it is for us to get in/out of by the sounds we make (or don’t make) getiing in/out of it.

    Yep, that’s an old-people tired, for sure………. creaky, groan-y, whine-y, the whole 9 yards………. plus an additional foot and a half……….

I’m with Comic Minister and the implication of stinging ants… I think there was something more than back pain. The expression on Arlo’s face was an exact reproduction of mine when I bumped a bee hive when I was doing some yardwork

Consider yourself lucky, Bawana. I too have back problems (compression fractures) and am under doctor’s orders not to take any NSAIDs because they’re blood thinners, and I have problems with low platelet count as well. About the only pain reliever I’m allowed is Vicodin, and I consider that for emergencies only. What do I take when my back hurts? Nothing, unless it’s bedtime and I need it to sleep.
