You see his truck parked in the yard on the way to Nags Head, N.C. One time, some friends and I were riding back from Nags Head. My friend’s wife Tammy was driving while we slept. I woke up and looked out the right side window and saw the Gravedigger parked on the side of the road. Only trouble is, that is the side you should see it when going to Nags Head. She had gone off the exit ramp in Virgina Beach, and gotten back on the entrance ramp to Nags Head. You should have seen the fireworks after I woke her husband.
Bruno Zeigerts: I saw one that had rolled dodging an oncoming drunk, ending up upsidedown. Righted by a farmer plowing nearby, it was still drivable despite a crumpled sheet-metal roof and a little battery acid damage inside (the battery was under the right back seat). Even the doors still functioned without effort and no glass was cracked. I doubt the current beetles would fare so well.
