Most who claim to be pro-life are against food stamps, welfare, head start, school lunches, and Medicaid. They’re not pro-life, they’re pro-birth. They want to do everything they can to make sure that a woman doesn’t have any access to assistance for the kid. But heaven forbid women have access to birth control or even term abortions…

@ Kylie2112 – I like to call your philosophy as being “pro life”, but also “pro quality of life.” Until the society can take care of the people who have been born, we have no right to demand more lives be thrown onto the pile of poor infrastructure, poor education, poor health care, and mean people that currently exist. Every child born is potential, but our society snuffs out potential like a fat man blowing out the candles of his birthday cake. Good comment, Kylie.@ Rockngolfer – Let me know when you sing that on Youtube. ;)@ Ima – If you just south of Atlanta, Ga. you can visit the “Flagship Store” for Chic fil A. It’s called the “Dwarf House” and you can sit in the dining section where a waitress will bring you your menu and food. You can also order hamburgers and steaks.shhhhhhhhh,,,,,, don’t tell the holsteins! This cartoon represents an event that is worse than merely horrible. For what was done to patients and to the unborn, this man and his staff appears to deserve the most severe legal punishments.Respectfully,C.

The irony of course is that no one can make enough money at KFC to raise unaborted children.

    Thanks!

I worked in fast food and other restaurants as a youth and made my college (and high school) spending money, but there were always LOTS of employees there who were “adults” trying to scrape by.

Not sure how things are today because I don’t really go to fast food restaurants and am not sure who’s working there.

Hello Scott,The media’s failure to give this the attention is something of which I’ve complained over the last weeks. Your allegation that liberals are pro abortion ignores liberals like me who pray pro-life but vote pro-choice. There are aspects of abortion on demand with which I take great umbrage and would like to see our society financially and socially responsible enough to offer real options and choices so that fewer abortions are sought or performed.Sixteen years after Roe v. Wade, a downward trend began in the crime statistics of major cities. The reason was that there were fewer unsupervised young adults out on the streets committing crimes. Until conservatives and liberals can come together to create a society where children are valued, educated, cared for, and, quite frankly, loved, I will not back away from my current pro choice stance. I don’t see how our nation could handle the weight of millions of new mouths to feed, minds to educate, and bodies to keep healthy under it’s current legislatureWith great sadness, but still Respectfully,C.

If laws against guns will not stop gun slaughter, why does GOP think that laws against abortion will stop that slaughter?

There IS a difference between infanticide and especially first trimester “abortion” or “morning after” or birth control. The “pro life” folks who don’t want to support others in society, or who proclaim “death to all Muslims, ’cause the attacked us”, or don’t care how many die around the world because their ISN"T access to birth control/abortion, from and kids AND adults die of starvation or other cruelty from societies that don’t care about the LIVING, are the true hypocrites, be they “liberal” or “conservative” politically.

Watching Jimmie Carter speak to the MILLIONS of people an initially small action, providing water filters, to prevent Guinea worm infestations and suffering is watching “pro life”. HIs discussion of building millions of outhouses, at $1 per structure in poor countries to end suffering (especially of women affected by “taboos”) is real humanity, and “pro-life”. Providing family planning and birth control in those parts of the world is also PRO-LIFE!

“Bomb tossing” “conservatives” who want ever more spending on “defense” to KILL PEOPLE, including OUR OWN TROOPS, are NOT “pro-life”, they are the ULTIMATE hypocrites.

The “doc” is a criminal because of his quackery, practiced not just with “maternity” but with all his patients in filthy conditions that didn’t meet medical standards. His infanticides are terrible, yes, but only a part of just how bad this guy was in his “practice”.
