One of my daughter’s e-friends recently broke a foot, and the doctor put it in a cast and told her to stay off it. She has OCD, and seven kids, the dog threw up, the cat cast a hairball, a bear wrecked her yard, and there was a leak over the laundry room. Also various members of the family have different health problems. The friend didn’t stay off her foot, broke her cast, and the doctor gave her a new one that would cut into her leg if she walked on it. A day in the life . . .
