How would you like to be trapped on a Carnival Cruise ship with the Pennys?

    Good Morning All

Stupid to put hobbies on a resume….But at least it’s helpful to potential employers…Let’s them know you’re unprofessional,so they won’t waste time interviewing you….

And in Jerry’s case…if he just includes a picture, they’ll know when to cross over to the other side of the street.

He probably also put in the year he graduated from high school, and used his mother as a reference.

Leaky…. Going anywhere on a Carnival ship seems like a bad idea lately even without the Pennys.

I notice that Burl is contacting his friend Bob at the parole office on Jerry’s behalf. I would have thought that Jerry already had a parole officer. And I didn’t see Jerry list his favourite hobby, playing with..well.. playing.Susan, I agree about Carnival. I don’t know how they are going to get past this. It appears they built the ships on the cheap and have skimped on maintenance. They look like the BP of the cruise industry.

Dear friends, please take the time this weekend to remember and honor those who have had their lives taken from them in the service of our country.

@Susan, not bad to include hobbies if they can in any way be tied in to work. My eldest 2 sons were gymnasts in school. One is still in a High jump club and the other does stuff like rappeling down buildings for charity fundraisers. They’re both in their 50s now. My calligraphy hobby sometimes tied in to work as I often made signs and flyers for my bosses (in those olden days before computers).

Dazz, I’m still trying to find a copy of that book you told me to read but I’m having no luck. Merchants look at me strangely when I ask for it.

@Leaky,I don’t remember recommending a book to you (I was just over giving advice on Daddy’s Home) but for you, maybe the KamaSutra? Better to shop for books on Amazon or Alibris anyway. Book stores mostly just carry the ones that Oprah or the NYTimes recommend. Amazon sometimes even lets you look inside the book before buying.

Jerry’s main hobby is ogling girls. Yeah that outa get him the job. Poor Carnival Cruise lines. Note to Carnival: Don’t show ‘Titanic’ in your movie theatre!

Just thinking, I wonder what else Jerry actually has on his resume. He doesn’t seem good at anything. I agree with Dune that he must live in his mother’s basement.

I agree too on Carnival and on remembrances. Here in Phoenix we have funerals today for a young policeman killed hit and run while arresting a drunk and a young fireman equallly tragicly killed.

They traced the car of the one and are looking for info to prove who was driving it at time of incident.
