Man: Catch anything, Sluggo?
Sluggo: Just GRIEF! But the FISH did well! Nancy threw the worms in the lake try-ing to set them FREE! FISH got a great meal! I got NOTHIN'!
Man: C'mon inside. I CAUGHT us a PIZZA--- "Fish" on the side!
Me thinks that it is not sheetrock. Sheetrock is for interior walls and it appears that he has been working on the exterior of the house based on the grass, doorstep and telling Sluggo to “Come inside”. Maybe it is insulation board?
Uh, why go to the trouble of modernizing the inside when the frame is in such bad shape?Sounds like my wife when we had a roof leak once, and it came through the tile ceiling – she wanted the ceiling fixed.(Duh – fix the roof first!)
Yep Sluggo has enemies… You can start with the bullies he bluffed…Either Phil is making sure the sheetrock stays on the wall or the studding is so bad he needs all them screws to find good lumber to nail to. Either way, Just go with it and enjoy the ride.Just glad he kept the anchovies on the side.
I don’t think Phil knows too much about wall studs. They are usually placed 16 inches apart. A lot of those dry wall screws are going into nothing. They look like they are about 4 inches apart. I guess he means well, though.

Looks like he’s attaching steel plating to the house.

From the number of screws he is using, I’d say that drywall is up to stay.

How many noticed the ladder grew from panel 1 to panel 3? Either that or the door shrank.

That’s insulation.

If Phil is hanging drywall, he will not be well liked by whoever does the seams… that is a LOT of screws for one piece of sheet rock.

The installation pattern suggests it’s possibly t-111 exterior sheathing used to stabilize the structure.
